I'm still seeking ancestors and descendants of Isaac Bower [b. NY 1776, d. Havana [now Montour Falls], Chemung Co. [now Schuyler], NY 1844]. He m. 1st __?__ who d. Tioga Co. [area now Schuyler Co.] bet. 1811-1818. They had a son, i. Grant Bower, b. NY 1805, d. MI 1873 Isaac m. 2nd, Elinor _?_ [b. NY 1787, d. NY bet. 1865 & 1870]. Their children: ii. Millicent A., b. NY abt. 1822; m. [1st] William Decker bef. 1844 in Catharine [now Montour Falls], Chemung Co. [now Schuyler], NY; she m. [2nd] Chester V. Mann iii. Isaac N., b. NY 1824 iv. Phineas, b. 1827 NY v. Oliver P., b. 1830 Who was Isaac's first wife and who were the parents of his second wife? Does anyone have confirmation of Isaac's father being Phineas? Did Isaac have a sister named Cynthia who married John Morris? I keep getting soooo close with some of you, then turn up with a zero. After 25 years of searching, I really believe it's about time I get some kind of breakthrough ... unless of course, my family actually DID evolve from the moss on the south side of a tree in the primeval forest! :) Thanks for any help.
