Hi Everyone, I subscribed to this list just over a week ago, and I think I have got on to the wrong list, could SKS tell me if there is a list for people researching BOWER in the UK? Hi Sue, You are on the right list, it's just that there are a lot of people researching Bowers all over the world. My Bower family originated in Dorset, so I won't be of much help to you, but there have been people researching Bowers from further north on this list. If you don't get a reply you might like to try looking at the lists archive to get details of those who have been researchinig in your area. There is also a list for the North East of England which deals with Yorkshire, and is very good, as well as one for East Yorkshire. (I found family by listing my lines from the East of Yorkshire on the North East of England list).
