Children: Mary Ellen, Alexander Bowers (b. 29 Mar 1860 in Independence, Buchanan Co., IA), John Henry, Dorthie Elizabeth, Thomas R. Her first husband probably died near Buchanan Co., IA. Her second marriage was to Sylvanus White in 1875 in Kilbourne, Delaware Co., OH. Children: Maggie S. Likely parents of Margaret Bowers were Joseph Bowers & Dorothy Unknown who resided in Delaware Co., OH in 1850. Children: George A, William T, Margaret, Charlotte, Dorothy, Joseph, Alexander. Joseph (the father) was supposedly born in VA so it appears that my Margaret may have moved back to Fluvanna and Albemarle Co., VA due to her family roots. Does anyone else relate to this family or have Bowers family from Delaware Co., OH or Albemarle Co., VA? There are several Bowers families in both of these areas and it would be very helpful if I could figure out how they fit together.
