Hi: I have been trying for years to find the parents of my Great-Grandfather- David Corwin Bowers. I notice you listed a David Bowers. All I have is that he was born in Hamilton Co. Ohio in 1830. He later moved to Illinois, where he appears on the 1850 census. I know his history from then on. Just a shot in the dark as this is in the time frame in your message.
