Wonderful news Gina. I know just how you feel. I have just had contact with a third cousin in England (not my BOWERS family but who married into them). He is my third cousin - our gt. grandfather's were brothers. His cousin (though brought up as sister and brother) lives in New Zealand and it has been marvelous comparing notes of our ancestors lives as well as our own. All through the letters small "sayings" come through that our side say as well - quite uncanny. Luckily my mum is still alive and she was "tickled pink" with the news. Yes, NEVER GIVE UP. Macha on beautiful Waiheke Island, New Zealand (born and raised in North Yorkshire, England) My BOWERS: Mark BOWERS m. Sarah FREWER (MANN) at Brandon, Suffolk, England 1854, father Anthony BOWERS and his father William BOWERS. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ginamarina" <ginamarina@usa.net> To: <BOWER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, June 10, 2001 3:10 AM Subject: [BOWER] Never give up! > I have been here on this Bower list for years, I believe since early 1999, > and unfortunately have found not one thing on my mysterious Martin Bower > from Pennsylvania.
