I have BOWER/(S) in Indiana also but have not been able to connect them to any line. My g-g-father John W. Bower was born in Berks Co, PA (per military records), ca 1830, but married after the civil war in Providence, Washington Cy, IND on March 22, 1868. I find him living there in 1870 census in a household next to Eliza Ann Bower (who was married to Thomas E, Bower in 1860 Census of that county) Eliza and Thomas had children on 1860: Henry age 21 b. PA, Mary C. age 19, James age 17, Elizabeth A age 13m Homer? age 12 all born in Indiana. Do you have any information on Bowers in other counties? Mary Lou Moore Kansas
