Hi, Colleen, My two cents worth: * a webring sounds fine, although I'm not too clear on the benefits, either; if it helps get more hits on our sights and helps spread the word about our Bower, etc families; it's sounds good to me.... * as far as awards, I'm pretty wishy-washy on that idea; lots of work for what benefit? * the Continuum has been an interest of mine and I hope it will expand; as Wanda and I have found out, you don't have to be a computer genius to do a webpage; just have an interest in doing it; you can find lots of on-line tutorials to help, such as HTML Goodies at www.htmlgoodies.earthweb.com; once you get thru the basics, I would suggest finding yourself a mentor; I had one, and he helped me a lot....if you decide to use one of the "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" web designs pages, be a little cautious in what you choose; some sites are very annoying to visitors; one I can think of off-hand which is, is MyFamily.com * a logo is a good idea; we have some graphics experts on the list and I'm sure they can come up with something we all can live with *the store; well, maybe, eventually; I would much rather see our time and energies directed toward putting useful Bower, etc. info on-line.... * the chat room; not something I am interested in personally, but for those that are, it could be fun and a good way to meet other family members....
