Son of Soloman born 1794 in VA John Wesley died in 1867, Allentown, WA Bowers, John W. born April 1889 Son of Nathaniel W. born 12/24/1862 in Ohio, died 12/28/1946 in Allen Cty. Hi Robert, I read your message here about James E bowers. Not sure if it was you asking about James E. but I too am looking for a James that may have been from Ohio or PA. All I know is that my James was living around 1935-37 and went to a Bowers reunion in Fayette county, PA. At that time James was "Uncle James" to my Mother, which she said he was a very elderly man at that time. Do you have a Bowers that married a Meinheart, or Minehart ? (first name Fredrich Minhart) Do not know female Bowers first name. in the Fayette county area, but we have a Bowers that married a male Barber . (last name) in the same area of Brownsville, Brier Hill, New Salem, East Millsboro, or Ada, (do not believe Ada still exists, but that is where I was born. These were all towns in Fayette county, PA. There are Bowers in cemeteries on the rootsweb. I have Bowers on both sides of my parents, also in Ohio. and my husband has the S.C. Bowers on his side of family.
