Roy married May Ellen Krichbaum (various spellings) May 26, 1898 in Upper Sandusky, OH. The marriage certificate says he is of Ada, OH. They had two children: 2. George Bowers born abt. 1900 in OH. 2. Mamie May Bowers born Feb. 18, 1902 married Arnold Beamer and died June 28, 1981 in Upper Sandusky, Wyandot Co., OH. May Ellen died in 1902, leaving behind Roy, a 2 1/2 yr. old and a 6 month old. Mamie May was adopted by her mother's aunt, Adaline Bowlby , wife of D. W. Bowlby of Nevada, OH. Roy remarried in 1904 to Grace Smith of Crane Twsp, Wyandot Co., OH ( Roy also used this as place of residence). George , his son, stayed with them. Roy died in 1957 in Columbus, OH., widowed. Because I am not sure of origins for Roy, I think his life might cover Wyandot Co., and all surrounding counties. I would appreciate any help with this line or any of the Kriechbaums. Thank you. Okay, I'm looking for the birth of the first wife of Adam H. Bower. She [Grace Frances Pearson] was born abt. 1851 in Massachusetts marriage certificate says Lowell. Found out that wasn't true after paying $5.00 for the birth cert., parents Charles Pearson & Mary. Adam & Grace married Sept. 1873 in Lowell, MA. My daughter spoke to her history Professor at the Univ. of Mass. Lowell campus about where I could look. It seems as though I've covered all the correct areas and can't to pin anything down. Everything about these 2 people have been a mystery. He's buried in Claffrey Cemetery, Ctr. Sandwich, NH but, if you contact the clerks office in that town they say the cemetery doesn't exist. The state issued death certificate states that's where he's buried. Grace died shortly after their 2nd child a daughter not sure where or when. The daughter was shipped up to Nova Scotia to Adam's family - parents to raise. The daughter moved back to Massachusetts where she married and died. I have no idea where in Massachusetts Grace F. Pearson was born in Massachusetts & where she died. By the way Adam Henry Bower is my great great grandfather.
