Hello Everyone, Our line goes down the same as Leslie Parsons from William and Rachael Jonkers Bowen born abt. 1680 New York. Down to Abraham and Elizabeth Palmer Bowen 1772 Canada. To William and Mary Rathbun Bowen, on down John Cooley and Catherine Bonn Bowen. Down another John Cooley and Lila Rear Bowen to myself Ivan Bowen. Hello Joy, guess that makes us cousins. Do you have any info on William and Rachael Bowen, or William and Catherine Van Antwerpen Bowen or William and Cornelia Quackenbush Bowen or/and especially, Abraham and Elizabeth Palmer Bowen. I have very little info on the women and would of course love to know more. Here is what I can offer: Elizabeth Palmer was the daughter of David Palmer, a UEL, I think he was a Corporal. Eliz. was born between 1791 and 1795 near Schenectady, NY. She and Abraham married in 1808 in Fredericksburgh, Ontario. Willem Bowing (Bowen) 13 Oct 1734 in Montgomery, NY - 10 Mar 1803 in Richmond Twp, Lennox and Addington, Ontario to Cahterine (Catarina) Van Antwerp (Antwerpen) born 13 Oct 1743 in Schectady, died 30 Sep 1817 in Richmond, Ontario. Her will lists her eldest son, William, and her youngest son Abraham. Her parents were Pieter Daniels Van Antwerpen and Engeltie Mebie Van Antwerpen. William Bowen (Bowing) married Cornelia Quackenbos in 1733, I have no info on her other than that. Willem was born in Schenectady 11 Jun 1703 and his baptism lists his parents William and Rachel Jonkers Bowen. Rachel Jonkers born 20 Jun 1786 in Albany NY, was the daughter of Jan Janse Jonkers (Yonkers) born 1640-1703 and his wife Trintje Class, no info on her. I also have no further info on this Willem Bowen, not even his parents. If any of this helps you, great. IF you can add to it, I'd surely appreciate it.
