I have looked at some S.C. Bowens, particularly around Spartanburg, but have not been able to find a connection to my TN Bowens. The earliest Bowen I have solid info on in my family is a Wlliam Rich Bowen who was apparently born in 1859 in Huntland, Franklin County, TN.
