I would have to invite Wyley N. Bowen & Elizabeth (Wilson) Bowen. Wyley was born 1812 in S.C. Would like information about Wyley's parents and siblings. Elizabeth Wilson was born 1818 in TN. Elizabeth was the daughter of Samuel Wilson. Would love to find some one with pictures and information concerning where they are buried. Lucy Bowen [email protected]_ (mailto:[email protected]) . All I know is she was born about 1758 in MD and died 30 Oct 1838 in Indiana. She was married to Andrew Kirkpatrick who fought in the Rev. War, was born in Ireland 1743 and died in 1827 in Adams Co., OH. I believe he is buried in the Stevenson/Ruffner Cemetery, AKA Campground Cemetery. She might have died in Montgomery Co., IN where her daughter-in-law Polly Kincaid died. Her children were William, Absalom, John, James (my ancestor), Samuel, George and Joseph. I don't know if she had no daughters or if they just didn't appear in records. I don't know who her parents were, so would have to settle for just Elizabeth at my Thanksgiving table. I'm sure she could answer many of my questions! Ida If God sends you down a stony path, May He give you strong shoes. In a message dated 11/4/2010 3:09:36 P.M. Listmembers, if you could have one of your ancestors with this surname join you for Thanksgiving dinner, which ancestor would you invite? What questions would you ask him/her? Please send a post to this list telling us about your ancestor - and please remember to include dates and locations. Carol C.
