I haven't gotten any info. Would be grateful for any information. I have the death notice and census info stating in one census that he was born in NY and another that he was born in Pa. I believe that he was in Wisconsin by 1850 and maybe before. The date when he married Orra Carter and deed info on land in Wisconsin. Their children were William Carter Bowen, Farmer Bowen (my grandfather) and Estella Bowen. All were born in Wisconsin. They came west about 1870 and settled first in Oregon for a couple of years and then on to Columbia County, Washington where they all died. I have never been able to find where he was born or who his parents were.
