I am active... well, I'm at a brick wall and only search from time to time thinking some information might become available. I have a Stephen Bowen from 1850 census living in Atlanta, DeKalb County, GA indicating he was born in SC in 1805. Married to a Temperance Kelly. Next to him in the same census is Hiram Bowen born in SC in 1798. Both men are carpenters. I am assuming they are brothers. So I am stuck at this point and can't find ancestors for these two men.
