I m also trying to connect to the ENGLISH FAMILY FOQUETT and anyone who used FOQUETT as a middle name for some time after the 1700s indicating that the Foquett name was in the family history by birth or marriage..... beginning with Yves Fouquet who came to IOW in 1645, and changed the spelling to FOQUETT and started the ENGLISH LINE of the family...spelling changes go back far enough, you can connect to the ENGLISH or FRENCH or GERMAN line.
