I have only one Bowden name in my entire genealogy database. She was my g-g-grandmother, Margaret/Peggy [Bowden] McShane (c.1780 - 8 Sep 1853), and was born in [presumed] Armagh and is buried in Crossmaglen along with her husband, James McShane (c.1789 - 20 May 1862). They were married in the Upper Creggan Parish, Crossmaglen on 14 Jul 1799. I have been adequately successful in tracing their descendants, but have no clues to their ancestors.
