Ann Bowden married my Great great great grandfather Charles Stafford (of Whitle), 22 September 1793, Old Glossop Church. They had 5 children: John baptised 18 April 1803, Mellor St. Thomas Daniel baptised 24 April 1795, Mellor Charles baptised 13 August 1797, Mellor Elizabeth baptised 20 April 1800, Mellor Sarah born 1805 Particularly interested in Charles Stafford of Whitle. He was born Circa 1757; it seems that no baptismal records exist; he may have been born just over the border in Cheshire (?) Hope someone out there has some helpful information or advice !
