    3. I am definitely interested in the Bowdens of Cuba Kentucky. My grandmother's parents (Isaiah and Melinda (Emerson) Bowden) are found in Cuba Kentucky in 1880 and she was probably born there or in Mayfield. The given names Westward, Westwood, Westland, as well as Eastwood, Eastward, and other variations occurs several times in various branches of the family, but I have next to nothing about the bearers of this rather strange name. North Carolina and Tennessee figure prominently in many branches of my family too, so I am interested in those lines as well -- they inevitably tie in somewhere.
