Cathy, There are LOTS of Bowdens in Maine & New England. My first suggestion to you would be to try and determine first if yours are the English Bowdens or the French Bowdoins. Some (well-meaning) people would have you believe that all Bowdens/Bowdoins are all descended from Pierre Baudoin - this is NOT true. How far back have you gone?
