    1. Woodrow Wilson BOWDEN
    2. It was pointed out to me that I had neglected to mention where Woodrow Wilson BOWDEN and Anne E. SEWALL were married and/or came from. Anne and her family lived in York, ME, as had their ancestors since approximately 1708 when Samuel, Nicholas and Hannah, three of John Sewall and Hannah Fessenden's children, left the original Sewall settlement in Newbury, MA. I would guess that they were married in York. I don't know whether or not the BOWDENs were also long time residents of ME. I do find an Armenino H.(?) with wife Marcia A. and son Fred H. age 26 and single in the 1900 census. Allowing for the discrepancy in year of marriage and possible age difference between the bride and groom this Fred could conceivably have been Woodrow's father (even, in fact, if Fred married in 1901).
