Wonderful Tom! I think that all the genealogy that others have done in the past are great clues but without documentation, we should only use them as clues. It is good that you hold fast to YOUR research and not assume your late cousin to be absolutely correct. If everyone who comes across our various spellings of our names of Bowdoin/Bowden/Bowdon etc. would transcribe their findings, then we would have more to go on. I feel sure everyone has one little clue that would make a difference. Please post anything you find when you find it. Regards, Ruth
