Hi All, Earlier in the year, I posted some Bowdoin burials at Monroe County, Georgia. Recently I visited there and came across some paperwork that gave better information on a few of these burials. Old Info: Monroe County, Georgia, A History by Monroe County Historical Society Forsyth, Georgia - 1979 Burials: Juliette Methodist Church Cemetery (on Ga. 87 at Juliette) Lillian Louise Bowdoin - Nov 15, 1906 to Jan 8, 1943 NEW: born Nov. 1, 1906 and died Jan 9, 1943 NEW: Lillian was the first wife of Bert Bowdoin (Elbert?).Her maiden name was ROGERS. Meldron Bowdoin - 1920 to 1928 NEW: Born Sept 22, 1920 and died June 13, 1928 Elbert Clayton Bowdoin - May 3, 1905 to Sep 12, 1934 NEW: Elbert Clayton Bowdoin was the son of Elbert H. Bowdoin (below) Elbert H. Bowdoin - Jul 24, 1871 to Jun 10, 1938 NEW LISTING at Juliette Cemetery: Charles Bowdoin - born Mar. 11, 1856 and died Jan. 3, 1946 So, from the info above on Lillian, then some of the Bowdoins buried in the Rogers Cemetery must be connected to this same Rogers family. Rogers Cemetery - Just South of Forsyth, Highway 41, can't be seen from Highway. Dudley H. Bowdoin - May 4, 1889 to June 12, 1955 Dudley H. Bowdoin Jr. - June 4, 1931 to July 4, 1972
