Searching for descendants of a BOURKE or BURKE line that came from Ireland and settled in Ontario Canada, c. 1840-1850, or possibly earlier. I have a John BOURKE, b. c. 1821, Ireland married to Anne KILMURRAY, b. c. 1828, either in Ontario or possibly Ireland. John died Jun 1901, Refrew Co., ONT. Canada. They were married in Nov. 1847, In the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Marysville, Hastings Co., ONT. This couple's second child Mary ?Margaret? BOURKE, b. Mar 1855, Tyendinaga Twp.,, ONT. Canada married Joseph McNEILL, b. Oct. 1845, Tyendinaga Twp., ONT. Canada. This couple's first born child, James Edward McNEILL, b. Jan. 1881 was my husband's maternal grandfather. Sure would like to learn more about John Bourke, and his parents, believed to have been a David Bourke, b. Ireland-? and a Bridget UNKNOWN, b. Ireland-?. Any help will be most appreciated. Thank you.
