    3. Thanks to all who offered comments regarding the correct lineage of Andrew J. & Elizabeth Ann (Mills) Bottorff. Yes, those names were apparently taken from that 1850 Scott Co IN census. The 1860 Tipton Co IN census lists them correctly as do the later censuses of the Nebraska counties where they settled in 1865. A copy of a page from their family bible, in my possession, confirms this. I just wanted to clarify the names of their children since they were published incorrectly in The Batdorf Family History. A reader might not otherwise not know that the birthdates in 1850 are consistent for “Isabell” to be Armilda Ellen; for “William M” to be Milburn Marion; for “Daniel H” to be David Monroe.
