We are pretty sure that Jeremiah was the son of a John Bottomley as we have found a baptismal record for 1788 in Warley. As Sarah died early, poor Mary had all 11 children to look after which includes her own three. Do you know anymore about Sarah Dyson, we have found a a baptism which might fit, 1784 with George as dad in Sowerby Bridge. Perhaps you can shed some light?
