She was my great grandma. Amelia died in 1947. Weird thing is that I had her mother down as Maria Gascoigne (b. 1832) which made me unsure it was the same one, but Enoch seems a bit of a character!! Pliny is such a rare name it has to be the same line though! Any info you have on Enoch's line greatly received. I have the census's going back to John and Ann, Enochs parents, and thats as far as I got. Amelia had three daughters and it was quite tragic. Florence died aged 4 saving her baby sister from falling down the cellar steps (which meant she fell down instead) The baby she saved was called Evelyn. She died in childbirth in 1932. My mother was the daugher of Alice Maud born very late in 1911. Amelia also lost a boy (miscarried) when she saved a child from being crushed by a horse and cart.
