Harvey and Sue, Just as an interesting side note to your OK Bottoms, here is an excerpt from my home page... >I was once told that I have Indian blood in me through my maternal grandmother. >Today the politically correct way would be to say that I have Native American Heritage. >Yes, I found out that my maternal grandmother was born in the Cherokee Nation. >But, she was not Native American. Seems that my great grandfather killed a man in > Missouri and was hiding out up in Indian territory This great grandfather was Thomas Lawson Bottom. His daughter, my maternal grandmother, Florence Delra Bottom, was born 14-May-1896, Catoosa, OK. Phonetically (since I don't know the spelling) I think the area was the Koo-we-schoo-we District of the Cherokee nation. -- Jim Strickland <jimstr@slip.net> Jim Strickland's Family Tree http://www.slip.net/~jimstr
