Harvey - I only have knowledge of two John's in Virginia - 1. John Bottom, wife Elizabeth; b:ca. 1686-90 and only three sons are named in the will - Thomas who m: Unit?; John and William. This will was filed in Henrieo Co. in Sept. 1737. I have no ages for these people, but it is possible that this John went to Tennessee. One of the many things I have not done yet is to look thru the Tennessee Wills and Administrations to pull out the Bottom/s wills and write for them. 2. John B. Bottom, wife Elizabeth; b: ca. 1661 - will names John, Thomas, William, Joseph, Mary and Elizabeth as children. This John's will was probated Sept. 3, 1711 and is thought to be the father of the above John. Perhaps someone else will have more information to add. I think a lot of us would like to know more about these two John Olivers. Susan
