Susan Right now, you are doing the most important think of your life. Do it as long as you can. I didn't have much forewarning when my mother died. I visited her in the hospital before she had surgery. While in surgery, she had a stroke and never gained consciousness. The next time I saw her, she was in a coma, then dead.
