Jim, you Bottom researchers remember that Dale Co, AL and area are where My Sarah Bottoms m John Henderson and had Richard William Henderson ended up. Sarah was born 1784 and the family says England. John Henderson was b. 1780 NC. Richard was b. Oct 23, 1806. Does anyone know anything about this John and Sarah Henderson? Extracted from History Of Irwin Co, GA, by J. B. Clements: "Pg 190. At July Term 1825, ltrs of Adm were granted to John and Sarah Henderson on estate of Daniel Henderson. Willis King, John Sutton, Sion Hall, Benj. Grantlan and Jacob Paulk were appraisoers. Sarah Henderson, the widow was allowed for a years support, one thousand lbs of pork, $75 cash, 100 lbs of sugar and 25 lbs of coffee."
