He first married Mary A Bottoms, the daughter of John R and nancy Jordon Bottoms of TN. They had seven children, five of which died young. After Mary's death he married Mrs C A Pyland, who was the widow of a cousin, I am told. Mary's brother, John A, lived with a Pilon family, census spelling, for a time in Rutherford Co TN who, I am told, was a cousin. I expect the families were the same.
