Hi Went through my Rutherford County deeds Saturday night. I am enclosing my findings and I think that I have found the connections that we have been looking for. As always, I would like stronger evidence but I feel like that along with all the other information that we know about Bradley Creek, etc. along with this information almost substantiates our theory.. John sold land 3/10/1839 - it was witnessed by David Jordan who definitely related to John R. Bottoms. Kitty sold her land in Rutherford County, 6/3/1834, Paschal bought his land 3/10/1835. Could Kitty have given him the money to buy his property? This land was bought by her in 1820. She should be showing up in the censuses for 1830 at least. John bought land 6/24/1830 adjoining Erasmus Keas' property. John bought land 12/24/1840 from Samuel Lasiter who apparently owed him $500. The debt would be forgiven if Lasiter would give him title. Witnessed by a Thomas D. Bottoms (don't know him?) John bought land from G. S. Newsom 7/27/1845 witnessed by James Jordan. John bought land 7/19/1841 from Samuel Lasiter. Witnessed by P. H. Bottoms (Paschal H. Bottoms) who as I indicated above was living in Wilson County. Could Lasiter be related. John sold land 12/18/1849 to move in with Sterling H. His name is listed as John Bottoms, Sr. (Could his middle initial be R. too.) Harvey
