I am curious as to the relation of the Tom Bottoms that Randa Conner has mentioned. My GGGrandfather was Tom Bottoms (Thomas Jefferson Bottoms), raised in GA, married to Cora Talulah Gilbert in Fayetteville, GA. As a family I know of at least three children who lived with them, but were not officially adopted. Next summer the descendents of Thomas and Talulah will have their family reunion in Scottsboro, AL over July 4th weekend. We are now at the 7 and 8th generations from this union.
