To you John R. family, I have already sent this to Nancy. Several months ago, I ran across some Gibson County marriages of Bottoms that I couldn't immediately recognize. Last night in doing some research of these type of individuals, I discovered on Nancy's John R. page the following information. James M. BOTTOMS 1833 - Unknown +Ann F. 1838 - Bef. 1880 3 Mary BOTTOMS 1861 - Unknown +J.M. JEFFREY Abt. 1860 - Unknown 3 Nancy BOTTOMS 1864 - Unknown 3 Augustus BOTTOMS 1866 - Elizabeth BOTTOMS Abt. 1842 - Bottoms, James M. to Ann F. Davis Jan 10 1865 Bottoms, Elizabeth to D. N. Crockett Dec. 12, 1856 Am I correct that James and Elizabeth went over to Gibson County with my Bottoms group. I show that Ann is Ann F. Davis and Elizabeth married D. M. Crockett (a relative -nephew I believe, of Davy Crockett) There were some other Bottoms that I still don't know who they are but I suspect they are related as well.
