HI Ann Marie I went to www.ancestry.com where they will perform a Social Security Search by Name. There were 2 Leonard Bottoms listed. One from Henrico Co. Virginia and One from Alabama. Since Alabama is a neighboring state to Tennessee it is most likely that this may be your grandfather. Also On the US Phone lists there are a few L.M. Bottoms you can also search these at most local libraries. The Leonard Bottoms SS number is 423-46-8273 born 12 Jan 1922, Died May 1975 Card issued in Alabama. That is about all I can find.
