Hi! I'm new to the list just today. Working on William Bottom, born about 1776 in Virginia, died 1863 White County, Illinois. He married (probably not first), Katherine Shull Mathews, 10 November 1839, White County, Illinois. Katherine had been married to Jacob Mathews who disappeared and was presumed dead. William Bottom then raised Katherine's 4 children. Is anyone else working on this family? Debbie in Illinois
