Does anyone know anything about the entry on the wall of honor at Ellis Island: Name: James Bottoms Origin: Durham, England Panel: #50 I assume this means that James entered America through Ellis Island and came from Durham England. Someone has requested that the name be placed on the wall of honor at Ellis Is. Wm was living in Franklin Co, Al in 1840 and came to Cherokee County, Tx by 1850. The Hills came with the Bottoms and Kirklands. Would like to exchange info with you. (We are leaving on a three week vacation Saturday morning, so it will be after we get back.)

Was the area around Bottom's bridge ar one time in Hanover Co?
