>From the Jones Co. Cemetery book I created in 1982 Mount Hope Cemetery 2 miles East of Anson Texas on Highway TX 180 I find Bottoms, Robert Dec 27 1819 Dec 27 1907. Many people came to Jones Co. From Alabama and also from East Texas during the time 1880 to 1910. Jim Lantrip. Just in case anyone is interested: Not long ago I posted a page URL from my web site for three brothers; Burrell Bottoms, Dr. James Bottoms and J. W. Bottoms who migrated from Pike Co. GA to AL in 1839. Three sons are mentioned for each of the brothers. Below is a listing of some of their gravesties in Dale Co. I am forwarding this email from Kat. can anyone help? Hello! I found your name while attempting to do a search for a "long-lost" friend. Her name is Crystal Bottoms, and we both lived in Saudi Arabia for a good deal of time in the early to mid-eighties. Her father's name was William "Bill" Bottoms, so I thought I would at least try and see if perhaps you are related in some way. This has been an on-going search for over ten years, so any help you can provide -- even an email telling me that you have no clue -- would be truly beneficial! *grin* Thank you so much, Kat Steingraber ICQ: 1492782 elemental@knology.net Bill Bottoms bbottoms@intercom.net
Hi, I want to unsubscribe to the Bottoms list. You told me I was not on, but this came to me along with 8 more similar ones. Please inform me as to what I should do. Thank you. Arlene, I tried it and it works OK. However, it sounds like a browser issue. The site uses frames and your browser may not. What type of browser are you using? Dear Harvey: All I do know about the BOTTOMS Family is that my beloved wife, now deceased, was Ruth Dalton Bottoms and her ancestry is as follows: l. John Thomas Bottoms ( ? ) and Hanna Truman ( ? ) of Henrico Co., VA. 2. Robert Lee Bottoms (1863 - 1932) and Maggie Chenault (1867- 1953) of Henrico Co., VA and Richmond, VA. 3. Wilbur Hoge Bottoms (1897-1981) and Pearl Radford Wilkinson (1897-1983) of Richmond, VA. It is my understanding that there were a considerable number of the Bottoms Family living in Chesterfied Co., VA. As to the validity of this I can not be sure. Regartds, Bernie in Northern Virginia
