Dee, This is what I am getting. Apparently they are treating me as a spammer. I have written them and hope that the problem is fixed. Apparently they "blackhole" me so that once I get on this list, even a single email address will no go through to an individual like you. SURRY CO VA WILLS ESTATE ACCOUNTS AND INVENTORIES 1730-1800/ by Lyndon H. Hart, III. The William Longbottom of the above will had children:James, William, Samuel, John, Tommos and a child in esse. Wife Jean. This William also married Jean/Jane Jones, d/o Arthur Jones. Arthur Jones died in Surry ca 1715. Various mentions are made of his daughters and their husbands are made in Surry Co deeds. Jane, Thanks for your information. I feel that we may have three generations of Williams here. The William who died circa 1733, his son who probably purchased the land mentioned in the 1748 deed and a grandson who was born also circa 1733. I didn't have the family information for the elder William. This should help a great deal. I know that there must be a great deal more of information that exists than what I found to date. Slowly but surely this information is being found. Three or (H)armon Crouse's daughters are burried by their husbands in the Opposition cemetery in Lawrence county. I have been in contact with a Dr. Crouse (MD) in KY who has tons of research on the family. Well folks, I have finished my final draft of my new book. Now my editor, my wife, can take over. It is 209 pages full of documentation for both Wilson and Rutherford Counties as well as much as I have from Virginia. It is fully indexed for both individuals as well as locations. Most of the information comes from the Bradley Creek and Milton area of Rutherford County and Fall Creed in Wilson County. In a couple of months, I will be starting the second installment which will take me to Gibson County, Tennessee, Logan County, Arkansas, Lawrence County, Arkansas and Boulder County, Colorado. Her daddy was Noel Bottoms, son of Parker Bottoms of South Carolina. Our Noel WAS NOT the son of Burrell Bottoms.
