    3. Hello All List Subscribers as I am sending this to all the lists I administer: I know we have been very, very quiet lately and I am sure it is due to the Christmas season. However, I would like to let everyone know about a potential problem lurking. As you all know there have been a rash of virus warnings and in many cases so many that we sometimes become numb to them. I myself have recieved 2 attempts last night. This particular one is listed on the page for virus hoaxes, however: One woman I know received it and put it through her virus scan and it said it was ok. She can no longer use her computer. The 2 I received one was from a list I am not on, and the other was from me addressed to me. On this one the actual background of the message is aqua and there is a link in the middle of it in red letters something regarding StuartMessages and they always have an attachment. The thing is this one will use a subject line that you have recently sent out so that it will be a topic you will readily opened. The 2 I received one had the subject of "marriage lookup"(as I had recently made one) and it appeared to be from the mailing list I made it to. But on looking at it better it was from myself to myself. I deleted immediately without opening the attachment and then emptied my deleted items folder. I am sending this warning to all of you as I know how tempting it is to see mail with a subject matter you have been waiting for in answer to a much wanted query. Please, please check both the address and addressee before opening any attachments. So far these have been limited to some of the state and county mailing lists and I have seen none on any of the surname mailing lists. Just be careful. We all receive a large amount of mail so we need to be aware. Tim Pierce, the Chief Hacking Officer has sent out a message regarding this particular virus within the past week. Debbie Carter
