Hi Listers It has been called to my attention that I should have clarified a message I sent yesterday. In attempting to generate some postings on the list I asked that instead of posting just the regular surnames and brick walls that you post names married into the family. What I MEANT was: for Example: I have an EPHRAIM GOSS married to ANNE WORKMAN when posting to the GOSS-L list I always list the spouse, but since it is a Goss list, people(I myself) tend to zero in on the one with the surname of the list. Even though I know a great deal about this ANNE WORKMAN I still don't know her parents or dob.Mormally I would have to subscribe and post her to the WORKMAN list (or whatever list). I was trying to give everyone an opportunity to list them on the main surname list (GOSS, with the one above) so to maybe get some mail going on the list as I know it gets tiresome placing the same old names on the list and never getting response or info. This was not to replace the main names or on a permanent basis, but just to generate some conversations here as our lists are getting very quiet.Sometimes in posting, a person may notice something they didn't before. Sorry for the confusion. Debbie Carter--Listowner
