Hi, All: Still trying to locate information on the descendents of Yuost (sometimes spelled Just or Gust) and Christina Sturz BOTT. They arrived in New York in 1890, and were in Denver (Globeville) by 1895. When they arrived, the three eldest children were with them...Louise(b. 1880), George(b. 1887), and John(b ~ 1889). Two more daughters, Emma (b. 1893) and Katherine (b. 1900)were born in Globeville, and another son, Peter was most likely born there as well, between Emma and Katherine. I am descended from Emma and in contact with one of Katherine's grandchildren, and would very much like to contact descendents of George and his wife Novello SMITH, John, whose children include John, Harry, Lillian and Virginia, or Peter...unfortunately, I didn't know anything about Peter until last year, and no one living has any information in my immediate family. Louise and her husband, Charles STOCK never had children of their own, but raised Emma's daughters after her death in 1920. George and Novello moved to California, and were last known to be living in Pomona, CA before his death in 1975. They had at least 10 children. To the best of my knowledge, the rest of the children kept some tie to Colorado, although some of Katherine's granchildren are living in Texas today. Hope there are some more cousins out there!
