HERMANUS BOTT born about 1697 in Germany immigrated to the US in 1743 landing in PA and settling in the York county area,he was 46 years old at the time.He married Anna Catherine Hahn and they had 7 children. On the same ship with Hermanus were 2 others of the Bott name. Hans Emerich age 42 and Peter age 35.I am inclined to believe they were related. I know that the Hans Emerich was a brother and another brother came later, Heinrich.I would be most intersted in exchanging info with anyone on this line, I am really wanting to get to where they came from in Germany and trace the roots there.
