Ruth I agree with you. I was under the impression that the whole point of a mailing list was to exchange information, where possible, with all members. I once made the mistake of replying to an individual (on another mailing list) and it was politely put to me (and rightly so) that my reply really should have been sent to the list for everyone to see. Only in cases where AOL have caused problems have I deviated from this. I have received so little Boston mail since joining that I do wonder about continuing my subscription. Anne
