Hi, I'm looking for any Rosenhauer'sthat are or were from Boston, This family is one hard family to track down, I have some that were in ILL. in the 1860 census, one son had 2 children there in 1857 and 1858, now I have them here in muskegon MI. where one son joined the Civil War, the other son joined in Napierville Dupage county , now back to Boston, my husband's grandmother always told my husband Jack that his gg grandfather was a shoe maker in Boston.I'm sure if the story is true it would be John Rosenhauer, all of his children were farmers and worked for the saw mills here in Muskegon, The son George did have a Bakery here and later sold it, I have more info if anyone is interested in this family, need all the help I can get to smash my brick wall. Now if John was a shoe maker he and his wife Bertha ? divorced here or in ILL. havn't yet for anything on the divorce. How would a family travel from Boston to end up in Michigan. Sue
