Both are from August of 1747 concerning the same subject. One is from the Boston Gazette (18 Aug 1747) and the other from the Boston Post Boy (24 Aug 1747). They concern a list of people and where they were from, who were taken by the french and indians back to Quebec. These were printed from a microfilmed copy of the original newspapers. Unfortunately, I have not been able to take the time to transcribe them and wondered if someone else would like to do this for the list? I copied the entire newpaper and so it has more information than just this article and may be able to help someone else. The Boston Gazette was 4 pages long and the Boston Post Boy was 2. The two articles are not the same. Most of the names are mentioned in both but each has a few different ones included. Please contact me if you would like to transcribe these for everyone and I will be happy to email the pages individually to you. Or perhaps someone would be willing to post these on a web site for all to see? Marie --part1_92.66b9c09.2d902ea0_boundary--
