Does anyone have any information on the Marcella Street School? It is listed on the 1880 census and appears to be a home/orphanage/school? for teen boys many of them Irish. Or does anyone have an address for a Boston Historian that I could contact? Thanks, Stefanie

Hi Stefanie, In an 1883 guide to Boston the place is listed as: Marcella-Street Home "A city asylum for pauper children in Roxbury, with graded schools." Rob Jackson
