Greetings! First time poster... I was wondering if someone on the list was familiar with Italian and or Sicilian Italian neighborhoods in the North End section of Boston, circa 1910-1920's. I would like to get an idea of just how large it was geographically speaking. I had family that lived there at that time period at 148 Salem Street. I believe this is the North End. Also they were at 5 Price, or Prince Street. I was wondering what "Streets" were the main streets for this community. Was it 5 blocks by 5 blocks? Bigger? Smaller? I tried researching on the internet, but only get vague ideas...anybody have any good sources for this? via internet or books?
