Hi Sharon, Thanks for the info. It could very possibly be my ggf. His b-day is Dec 23, 1863 so at least the age matches. I have always been told that he was born in Roccasicura, Molise, Italy, however I do know that there are some Scarpitti's from Carovilli and have corresponded with a couple of people researching those Scarpitti's. I was also told that he came over in 1895, but that could be wrong. The towns of Carovilli and Roccasicura are pretty close so this is worth checking into. Does LDS have this film do you know?
