Hi Ann, This is just brief for now I have a James Cooney who m.Eleanor J. Morse of New Brunswick , they were later residents of Calais ,ME . James served in the Cival War . I believe there was son James as well. I have alot of further information but not in front of me , my 2nd cousin did many many years of research on our Cooney family even up to more recent dates .
